Overview
We’re looking for a proactive Social Media Coordinator who is able to grow & manage multiple social media accounts for Fortem International events as well as execute social media campaigns to produce measurable growth and an active social media following.
This role is ideal for those with previous experience in creating and scheduling social media posts, communicating with followers, and for those looking to continue or start their professional growth in a high-energy office environment with opportunities for advancement in the company.

Responsibilities
- Come up with your own ideas for engaging our followers and building our following for all social accounts managed;
- Research current industry trends relative to assigned events and work directly w/ our graphic designer & copywriter to make blogs/posts;
- Develop understanding of industry leaders, top companies and organizations to better manage social media accounts;
- Generate, edit, and publish original content for the current event(s) on all channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews;
- Message potential prospects to inform them of the expos & generate business;
- Schedule posts and effectively manage timelines/deadlines/follower goals.
- Collaborate with graphic design and marketing/sales teams to effectively engage with event followers.
Requirements
- Must be tech-savvy and able to work on laptop and smartphone.
- Have a strong knowledge of social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
- Experience with G-Suite programs and Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organizational & project management skills.
- Work collaboratively and closely with the marketing team.
- Understand key marketing performance metrics.
- Able to solve tasks creatively and efficiently.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
- Experience in graphic design and copywriting is a massive PLUS.
- Friendly, quick learning, and pro-active member of the marketing team.
