Experience

  • 1+ years experience in academic or industry research, preferred
  • 1+ years experience in data handling, preferred

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Overview

We’re looking for a proactive enthusiastic Assistant Database Manager who is able to create databases and cultivate current databases into VIP attendance for Fortem events.

This role is ideal for those with previous experience in data entry, data management or research and for those looking to continue or start their professional growth in a high-energy office environment with opportunities for advancement in the company.

Responsibilities

  • Capture leads and cultivate data via Google, Linkedin, Facebook, etc;
  • Conduct efficient, detailed research in different industry sectors
  • Manage and clean existing databases
  • Generate event visitor registrations through cultivated leads;
  • Research key demographics and understand industry trends;
  • Effectively manage assigned data related tasks, including email lists
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for other relevant marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Must be tech-savvy and able to work on laptop and smartphone.
  • Have a strong knowledge of social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Experience with G-Suite programs and Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding organizational & project management skills.
  • Work collaboratively and closely with the marketing team.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics.
  • Able to solve tasks creatively and efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
  • Experience in copywriting and telemarketing is a massive PLUS.
  • Friendly, quick learning, and pro-active member of the marketing team.
